ShredDead zombies and zombie evolution

Updated 2026-11-03. Checked against public sources on that date.

Zombies in ShredDead are both the threat and the wallet. The store page says a mad scientist pushes their evolution, which raises output and danger. You spend DNA to make them spawn faster, live longer, and drop more. Then you call a horde.

I matched the crowded Steam screenshot to CaptainCigar’s 27 October recording. The street fills, a boss wave arrives, and a large body is worth far more DNA than a walker. I am keeping the single-source health numbers in the table instead of smoothing them into one “official” stat.

Checked 2026-11-03. Health and DNA cells with one source say so.

Five waves

Steam lists First Wave through Fifth Wave achievements, plus Final Stand for all five on the highest difficulty. A pre-release gameplay video shows a thank-you after a wave sequence, but neither the screenshot nor achievement list proves that five is the only available wave content. A demo video shows a countdown, with no official duration confirmed. v1.0.1 rebalanced the final wave and made it stronger, especially on difficulties 2 and 3. The consequence of shredder overload is not documented in the sources checked.
